Description and Operation

Description

The in-vehicle temperature sensor is built into the heater and A/C control unit.

The sensor contains a thermistor that measures the interior temperature. The signal is determined by a resistance value that changes according to the sensed interior temperature, and is sent to the heater control unit. Based on this signal, the control unit regulates the interior temperature to the set value.
