Low-Profile Tire
Low aspect ratio tires, with an aspect ratio of less than 50, are designed for a sporty appearance.
Because low aspect ratio tires are optimized for handling and braking, they may provide a less comfortable ride and produce more road noise compared to conventional tires.
CAUTION
Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than that of a conventional tire, the wheel and low-profile tire are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below.
- When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully, as the tires and wheels may be damaged. After driving, inspect the tires and wheels.
- When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole, or curb, drive slowly so that the tires and wheels are not damaged.
- If a tire is damaged, we recommend that you have the tire inspected or contact an authorized Kia dealer.
- To prevent tire damage, check the tire condition and tire pressure every 3000 km (1900 miles).
- Tire damage may be difficult to detect; therefore, if a tire is damaged, it is recommended that you inspect or replace the tire to prevent possible air leakage.
- If the tire is damaged by driving on rough roads, off-road, into a pothole, a curb, or a bump, the damage is not covered by the warranty.
- Tire information can be found on the tire sidewall.
