Interior lights

NOTICE Do not leave the interior lights on for long periods when the engine is off.

The battery may be discharged. WARNING Do not use the interior lights when driving in the dark. There is a risk of accidents since the interior lights may obstruct your view.

Automatic shut-off function (if equipped)

The interior lights turn off after approximately 20 minutes after the ignition switch is turned to OFF.

Map light (if equipped)

Press the lens to turn the map light on or off. This light produces a focused beam, which makes it particularly convenient for reading maps at night or as a personal reading light for the driver and front passenger.

• : In the DOOR position, the map light comes on when a door is opened, regardless of the ignition switch position.

When the doors are unlocked with the transmitter (or smart key), the map light remains on for approximately 30 seconds, until a door is opened.

After the door is closed, the map light gradually turns off after 30 seconds.

However, if the ignition switch is in the ON position or all doors are locked, the map light will turn off immediately.

When a door is opened with the ignition switch in the ACC or LOCK position, the map light remains on for approximately 20 minutes.

However, when a door is opened with the ignition switch in the ON position, the map light remains on continuously.

: The lights turn off even if a door is open.

When the light is turned on by pressing the lens (1), the light does not turn off even if the switch (2) is set to OFF.

: The map light and interior light remain on at all times.

Room lamp (if equipped)

• DOOR : In the DOOR position, the interior light comes on when a door is opened, regardless of the ignition switch position. When the doors are unlocked with the transmitter (or smart key), the interior light remains on for approximately 30 seconds, until a door is opened.

The light comes on when the glove box is opened.

NOTICE To avoid unnecessarily discharging the battery, close the glove box firmly after use.

Trunk light (if equipped)

The luggage compartment light comes on when the trunk is opened.

NOTICE The luggage compartment light comes on when the tailgate is opened. To avoid unnecessarily discharging the battery, close the tailgate firmly after using the luggage compartment.
