If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, you can slide or tilt the sunroof using the control lever located on the overhead console.
The sunroof can be opened, closed or tilted only when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
NOTE
- In cold and humid conditions, the sunroof may not operate properly due to ice formation.
- After washing the vehicle or after it has been exposed to precipitation, make sure to remove any water from the sunroof before operating it.
WARNING
- Do not keep the control lever engaged when the sunroof has reached the fully open, fully closed or maximum tilt position. The motor or system components may be damaged.
- Make sure the sunroof is fully closed when leaving the vehicle unattended. If the sunroof remains open, rain or snow may enter and wet the interior, and the vehicle may be subject to theft.
NOTE The sunroof cannot slide when it is in the tilted position, and it cannot be tilted when it is partially or fully open.
WARNING
- Never adjust the sunroof or the sun visor while driving. You could lose control and cause an accident, with a risk of serious or fatal personal injury and damage to property.
- Do not let children operate the sunroof.
