Storage Compartments

These compartments hold small items needed by the driver and passengers.

WARNING

• To prevent theft, do not leave valuables in the storage compartments.
• Always keep the storage compartments closed while driving.

Do not put so many items in the compartments that the lid cannot close properly. WARNING - Flammable materials Do not keep cigarette lighters, gas cans or other explosive/flammable materials in the vehicle. If the vehicle is left exposed to high temperatures for a long time, these may catch fire or explode.

Glove box To open the glove box, pull the handle and the glove box will open automatically. Close the glove box after use.

WARNING To reduce the risk of injury in an accident or sudden braking, always keep the glove box closed while driving.

WARNING Do not keep food in the glove box for long periods.

Eyeglasses holder To open the eyeglasses holder, pull the cover. Place the glasses in the holder with the lenses facing outward. The cover will close automatically once released.

WARNING

• Use the compartment only for storing eyeglasses. Other objects may fall out of the compartment in case of sudden braking or an accident, possibly injuring vehicle occupants.
• Do not open the eyeglasses holder while the vehicle is moving. Opening the eyeglasses holder may obstruct the view in the interior rearview mirror.

• Do not force eyeglasses into the eyeglasses holder, as they may break or become deformed. Forcing the eyeglasses holder open when the glasses are jammed inside is dangerous.
