Keyless Remote Entry System Operation

Lock (1)

All doors (and the tailgate) lock when the lock button is pressed with all doors closed.

The hazard warning lights will flash once to indicate that all doors are locked.

However, if any door, the hood, or the tailgate remains open, the hazard warning lights will not operate. If the doors, hood, and tailgate are closed after pressing the lock button, the hazard warning lights will flash once.

Unlock (2)

All doors (and the tailgate) unlock when the unlock button is pressed.

The hazard warning lights will flash twice to indicate that all doors are unlocked.

After pressing this button, the doors will lock automatically if you do not open any door within 30 seconds.

Tailgate Unlock Button (3) (if equipped)

The tailgate unlocks when the button is pressed for more than 1 second. The hazard warning lights will flash twice to indicate that the tailgate is unlocked.

However, after pressing this button, the tailgate will lock automatically if you do not open the tailgate within 30 seconds.

In addition, once the tailgate is opened and then closed, the tailgate locks automatically.
