Seat Heating

~1min read

The seat warmers are designed to warm the front seats in cold weather. When the ignition switch is in the ON position, press either of the switches to turn on the driver's or passenger's seat warmer.

In mild weather, or when seat warming is not needed, keep the switches in the OFF position.

• Each time the switch is pressed, the seat temperature setting will change as follows:

■ Front Seat

• The seat warmer is off by default whenever the ignition switch is turned on.

NOTICE

With the seat warmer switch in the ON position, the heating system turns the seat on or off automatically depending on the seat temperature.

CAUTION

  • When cleaning the seats, do not use organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. These may damage the heater or seat surfaces.
  • To avoid overheating, do not place anything on the seat that insulates against heat, such as blankets, cushions, or seat covers, while the seat warmer is in operation.
  • Do not place heavy or sharp objects on seats equipped with seat warmers. Damage to the seat warmer components may occur.
  • Do not modify the seat upholstery. This may damage the seat warmer or ventilation system.
