NOTICE

To reduce wind noise while driving, it is recommended to drive with the sunroof partially open (stop the sunroof approximately 5 cm (2 in.) before the maximum open position).

WARNING

Make sure your head and other body parts or other objects are in a safe location well before closing the sunroof to avoid injury or damage to the vehicle. Objects less than 4 mm (0.16 in.) in diameter between the sunroof glass and the windshield channel may not be detected by the automatic reverse function, and the sunroof will not stop or reverse.

Automatic Reverse

If an object or body part is detected while the sunroof is closing automatically, it will reverse direction and then stop.

The automatic reverse function will not work if a very small obstruction is between the sunroof glass and the sunroof frame. You should always check that all passengers and objects are clear of the sunroof before closing it.

WARNING

  • Never intentionally try to pinch any part of your body to activate the automatic reverse function.
  • The automatic reverse function may not operate if something is caught just before the sunroof fully closes.
