Sunshade, Sunroof Reset
Sunshade

The sunshade will open automatically with the glass panel when the glass panel slides. You will need to close it manually if you want it to close.
Sunroof Reset
The sunroof must be reset if the following occurs:
- The battery is discharged or disconnected, or the related fuse has been replaced or removed.
- The one-touch sliding function of the sunroof does not operate normally.
1. The ignition switch must be in the ON position.
2. Fully close the sunroof.
3. Release the control lever.
4. Press the control lever forward until the sunroof tilts down and moves slightly up and down. Then release the lever.
5. Press the control lever forward until the sunroof operates as follows:
TILT DOWN → SLIDE OPEN → SLIDE CLOSE
Then release the control lever.
If the sunroof does not operate properly after the reset, have the system inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
CAUTION
If the sunroof does not reset when the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or the related fuse has blown, the sunroof may not operate correctly.
