The tilt steering wheel allows you to adjust the steering wheel position in front of you for driving.

You can also raise it to give your legs more room when getting in and out of the vehicle.

The steering wheel should be adjusted so that you can operate it comfortably and see the instrument panel warning lights and gauges.

WARNING

  • Never adjust the steering wheel angle while driving. You may lose control and cause serious injury, death, or an accident.
  • After adjusting, push the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is locked in position.

To change the steering wheel angle, pull down the unlock lever (1), adjust the steering wheel to the desired angle (2), then pull up the lock lever to lock the steering wheel in place (3). Be sure to adjust the steering wheel to the desired position before driving.
