The climate control air filter, located behind the glove box, filters dust and other contaminants that enter the vehicle from outside through the heating and air conditioning system. If dust or other contaminants accumulate in the filter over time, the airflow from the vents may decrease, which may lead to moisture build-up on the inside of the windshield, even when the fresh air position is selected. In this case, have the climate control air filter replaced at an authorized Kia dealer.

✽ NOTICE

  • Replace the filter according to the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is operated under severe conditions, such as dusty or rough roads, the climate control air filter may need to be inspected and replaced more frequently.
  • If the airflow suddenly decreases, the system should be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
