To close, lower the trunk lid, then press down on it until it latches. To make sure the trunk lid is securely closed, always check by attempting to lift it again.

WARNING - Exhaust Gas

The trunk lid must always be fully closed while the vehicle is in motion. If left open or partially open, toxic exhaust gases may enter the vehicle and may cause serious illness or death.

WARNING

No one should be allowed to ride in the trunk at any time. The trunk is a very dangerous place in the event of a collision.
