This warning light remains on after flashing for approximately 60 seconds, or repeats flashing at intervals of approximately 3 seconds:

• When there is a malfunction in the TPMS.

In this case, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.

❈For more information, refer to "Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)" in Chapter 7.

WARNING - Low Tire Pressure

  • Significantly low tire pressure makes the vehicle unstable and may contribute to loss of vehicle control and increased braking distance.
  • Continuing to drive on underinflated tires may cause the tires to overheat and fail, which may lead to an accident.

The TPMS cannot warn you of severe and sudden tire damage caused by external factors.

If you notice that the vehicle is unstable, immediately release the accelerator pedal, gradually apply the brake pedal with light force, and slowly move to a safe off-road location.
