Sliding Sunroof

To open the sunroof automatically:
Pull the sunroof control lever back to the second detent position, then release it. The sunroof will open fully.
The sunroof will move to the recommended open position (about 5 cm (approximately 2 in) before the maximum open position of the sunshade).
To stop the sunroof at any point while it is moving, briefly pull or press the sunroof control lever.
To open the sunroof to the maximum open position, press the switch toward the rear of the vehicle and hold it until the sunroof slides fully open.
To reduce wind noise while driving, we recommend that you drive with the sunroof in the recommended open position (about 5 cm (2 in) before the maximum open position of the sunshade).
To close the sunroof automatically:
Move the sunroof control lever forward to the second detent position, then release it. The sunroof will automatically close fully.
To stop the sunroof at any point while it is moving, briefly pull or press the sunroof control lever.
While driving with the sunroof open (or partially open), wind noise or buffeting may occur. This noise is normal and can be reduced or eliminated by the following actions. If you hear noise with the sunroof open, slightly reduce the sunroof opening.
Automatic Reverse

If an object or a part of the body is detected when the roof glass or sunshade closes automatically, it will reverse direction and then stop.
The automatic reverse function does not operate if an object is caught between the sliding glass or sunshade and the sunroof frame. Always make sure that all passengers and objects are kept away from the sunroof before closing it.
WARNING
Make sure your head, other parts of your body, or other objects are in a safe position before closing the window to avoid injury or vehicle damage.
Objects less than 4 mm (0.16 in) in diameter caught between the sunroof glass and the front window channel may not be detected by the automatic reverse function, and the window will not stop or reverse.
