Transmission Temperature Sensor

- Select the trip computer mode on the LCD display and go to the transmission temperature screen to view the dual clutch transmission temperature.
- Try to drive so that the temperature gauge does not show high/overheating. If the transmission overheats, a warning message will appear on the LCD. Follow the displayed message.
- Transmission temperature is displayed in three colors (white, orange and red) as it increases (if equipped with the color type cluster). If equipped with the mono-type cluster, the temperature gauge is displayed in one color (white).
- The orange temperature indicator is displayed immediately before a warning message appears on the LCD. (if equipped)
CAUTION
- A rise (high temperature) of the transmission temperature gauge usually occurs on a slope when the vehicle is held stationary for a long time using the accelerator pedal without depressing the brake pedal.
- To maintain optimal transmission performance, drive so that the white range is not exceeded. (if equipped)

Normal (below 10 mark)
To maintain optimal shifting efficiency, drive so that the temperature sensor remains below the point (below mark 10).
NOTICE
The temperature gauge may rise quickly if excessive clutch slip occurs due to repeated driving with frequent stops on steep slopes and holding on an incline for long periods. To prevent excessive temperature rise, use the brake when driving at low speed or when stopping the vehicle on a slope.

Before High/Overheat (10 to 14 marks)
- This zone shows that the temperature of the DCT dual clutch is below the high/overheating zone. When the clutch temperature is within this zone (from mark 10 to 14), the drive minimizes clutch slip so that the temperature sensor remains below the point (mark 10).
- If the dual clutch temperature continues to rise and reaches the 14 mark, a warning chime sounds and the temperature gauge appears on the instrument panel. The DCT warning message is not displayed.

High/Overheat (15 to 16 marks)
- This zone indicates that the DCT dual clutch temperature has reached the High/Overheat zone. The DCT warning chime sounds, a warning message appears on the cluster, and the temperature gauge disappears from the cluster. Follow the displayed warning message.
- To check the dual clutch temperature status when overheated, move to the temperature gauge screen by selecting the trip computer mode. Then you can check the DCT temperature status.
