Children over one year old and weighing at least 9 kg (20 lb) must be seated in a rear-facing child restraint system for as long as the height or weight limit of the child restraint system allows. Children who have outgrown the height or weight limit of the rear-facing child restraint system and who are at least one year old must be secured in a forward-facing child restraint system with a harness.

Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the recommended minimum and maximum height and weight.

NISSAN recommends seating young children in a child restraint system that meets the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards or the United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Choose a child restraint system suitable for your vehicle and always follow the manufacturer's instructions for its installation and use.
