Make sure:

  • the cables slide freely,
  • of the correct contact of the handbrake levers (B) on the shoes.
Commande de frein à main

Gradually tighten the cables at the central adjuster so that levers (B) lift off between the 1st and 2nd notch of the control lever travel and stay lifted at the 2nd notch.

Tighten the locknuts.

Refit the drums.

Vehicles on wheels: adjust the linings by applying the brake pedal several firm, progressive times while listening to the automatic adjuster operate.
