Master cylinder

REMOVAL
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector.
Remove the injection ECU (depending on version).
Unclip and move the power steering reservoir towards the engine.
Drain and remove the brake fluid reservoir by pulling it out (provide for brake fluid runoff).
Remove:
- the pipes, marking their position,
- the two mounting nuts on the brake booster.
INSTALLATION
Refit in reverse order of removal.
Check the length of the pushrod.
Dimension X = 22.3 mm.
Adjustment depending on model using the gauge (P)

NOTE: these vehicles are fitted with a master cylinder integrated into the brake booster. The sealing of the brake booster is directly linked to the master cylinder.
Whenever this work is carried out, fit a new seal (A).
Fit the master cylinder aligned with the brake booster so that the pushrod (P) correctly enters the master cylinder bore.

Fill the brake fluid reservoir and bleed the brake circuit.
MASTER CYLINDER (REPLACEMENT)
The kit sold by MPR consists of:
- one master cylinder (4 outlets, or 2 outlets if ABS),
- two caps (A),
- two mounting nuts (B).
