Diesel engine

REMOVAL

Drain the cooling system.

Remove the air intake duct, along with its bracket.

Disconnect the snap-fit vacuum pipe.

Remove the thermostat housing bracket (2 screws).

Remove the vacuum pump (2 screws, 2 nuts).

Pompe à vide

Always replace the drive dog when replacing the pump.

INSTALLATION

Refit in reverse order of removal.

Bleed the cooling circuit.

CHECKING

Engine warm, at 4000 rpm, the minimum vacuum must be 700 mbar (525 mm Hg) within 3 seconds.
