AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT

To replace the air filter (F), it is not necessary to remove the brake booster.
Under the pedal box, use a screwdriver or a metal hook to extract the used filter (F).
Cut the new filter at A (see figure), engage it around the rod, then push it into its housing, making sure it spreads across the whole bore to prevent unfiltered air passing through.
CHECK VALVE REPLACEMENT
This operation can be carried out on the vehicle.
REMOVAL
Disconnect the vacuum supply tube from the brake booster.
Pull the check valve while turning it to release it from the rubber sealing washer.

INSTALLATION
Check the condition of the sealing washer and the check valve.
Replace any defective parts.
Refit the assembly.
