DEPOSE

REMOVAL

Disconnect the wear indicator wire (where fitted).

Push the piston back by sliding the caliper by hand.

Remove the lower caliper guide bolt.

Garnitures de frein

Pivot the caliper about the upper axis.

Remove the pads.

Check:

  • the condition and fitting of the piston dust boot,
  • the condition of the guide dust boots.

INSTALLATION

Push the caliper piston back using tool Fre. 823.

Fit the new pads.

The pad with the wear indicator wire (where fitted) goes on the inside.

Refit the caliper and install the lower guide bolt.

Tighten the guide bolts to the specified torque of 4 daN.m.

Reconnect the wear indicator wire (where fitted).

Press the brake pedal several times to bring the piston into contact with the pads.
