I - FLUID INFORMATION

A label in the engine compartment gives the refrigerant specifications (see technical note "Air conditioning".

II - USING A CHARGING STATION

For recovery, vacuum evacuation and recharging of R134A gas, use only the high-pressure hose of the charging station.

Note:
  • Always fit caps on disconnected air conditioning pipes to prevent moisture entering the circuit.
  • Remove the caps from spare parts at the last moment.
  • Carry out a leak test with the engine running, air conditioning on and blower at maximum, and check with a leak detector within five minutes after charging.
  • Strictly observe the instructions on oil top-ups (see Chapter Air conditioning) when working on air conditioning circuit components.
  • When replacing valves, observe the tightening torque of 0.8 daN.m.
