Ms. 1544 Radio removal tool - Carminat Becker

REMOVAL

  • Disconnect the battery.
Navigation "bas de gamme"
  • Insert the tool (Ms. 1544) into the two holes (1).
  • Pull on the two tools in line with the radio navigation unit.

WARNING The antenna cable is very fragile. Do not pinch or kink it.

  • Disconnect the connectors.
  • Remove the tool by pressing the latches (2).

INSTALLATION

  • Reconnect all connectors.
WARNING

Connect the battery; carry out the necessary relearn procedures (see Battery chapter).

  • Enter the protection code.
WARNING

If the radio navigation unit is connected to a front-loading CD changer, the protection code of the old radio navigation unit must be entered when the display shows "CD CODE" (Radio chapter, Radio Security, page 86A-3).

  • Carry out the radio navigation unit setup.
  • Insert the CD-ROM.
  • Wait for the system to locate its position (calibration).
  • Set the time.
