In-Car Sensor Description and Operation

~1min read

Description

The sensor contains a thermistor that measures the temperature inside the vehicle. The signal is determined by the resistance value, which changes according to the sensed interior temperature, and is sent to the heater control unit. Based on this signal, the control unit adjusts the cabin temperature to the set value. When the resistance changes, the corresponding voltage is transmitted to the thermostat module by measuring the temperature of the air drawn into the cabin.
