Invalid Data Received from Deceleration Sensor (C1442,C1443)
The skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.
The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
DTC Code | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
C1442 |
An invalid data signal is transmitted continuously from the acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more. |

NOTICE:
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform zero point calibration (See page
).
CHECK DTC
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Clear the DTC (See page
).
(c) Start and idle the engine for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.
(d) Check if the same DTC is recorded (See page
).
