Bleeding the Clutch Hydraulic System
If you do not have the device normally used for this purpose in workshops, you can bleed the clutch using the same method as the brake system (chapter "Brake System") or, with almost no fluid loss, by the following method:
PROCEDURE
Open the bleed valve on one of the front wheels and the bleed valve of the clutch slave cylinder, each by approximately 1.5 turns.
Connect both valves with a hose.
Now press the brake pedal slowly and carefully several times, so that brake fluid from the front brake is forced into the clutch hydraulic system.
Do not press forcefully, otherwise the hose may come off!
Monitor the brake fluid level in the reservoir.
When air bubbles no longer rise from the clutch hydraulic system into the brake fluid reservoir, close both valves and remove the hose.
Check the brake fluid level!
