Brake assist

~1min read

Brake assist optimizes braking force.

Brake assist helps increase braking force and therefore reduce braking distance. When the driver applies the brake pedal very quickly, brake assist automatically boosts the braking force, up to the ABS control range at most. Keep the brake pedal depressed until the desired braking is achieved. As soon as you release the brake pedal, brake assist switches off automatically.

If the ABS is faulty, brake assist is not available.

CAUTION!

Please note that the risk of an accident increases when driving at excessive speed, particularly in bends and on slippery or wet roads, or when the distance to the vehicle ahead is insufficient.

Brake assist also cannot reduce the increased risk of accident - risk of accident.
