Child safety lock on rear doors

The child safety lock prevents the rear doors from being opened from the inside.

The rear doors are equipped with a child safety lock.

You can activate or deactivate the child safety lock using the ignition key. The child safety lock is only visible when the door is open.

Activating the child safety lock

• Turn the key in the direction of the arrow, fig. 54.

Deactivating the child safety lock

• Turn the key in the direction opposite to the arrow.

When the child safety lock is activated, the interior door handle does not work; the door can only be opened from the outside.
