Tightening torque found on this page

Additional work to be carried out after changing a wheel.

  • Stow the replaced wheel and secure it in the spare wheel well.
  • Return the onboard tool kit to its place.
  • Check the tyre pressure of the fitted spare wheel as soon as possible.
  • Have the wheel bolt tightening torque checked as soon as possible with a torque wrench. It must be 120 N·m.
  • Have the defective wheel replaced as soon as possible.

Note

  • If, when changing the wheel, you find that the wheel bolts are corroded or difficult to tighten, replace them before checking the tightening torque.
  • For safety reasons, drive at moderate speed until the tightening torque has been checked.
