Driving Experience control

The Driving Experience Control switch in the BMW 5 Series G30 allows you to adapt the vehicle dynamics to different driving situations. The various modes, from COMFORT through SPORT to ECO PRO, affect key systems such as engine characteristics, damping, transmission behavior and steering. In SPORT INDIVIDUAL or ECO PRO INDIVIDUAL, personal settings can even be saved. Sporty drivers can select more direct throttle response, while long-distance drivers can save fuel with the ECO modes. The ADAPTIVE mode deserves special mention: it adjusts automatically to your driving style and the surroundings, which makes it ideal for changing driving conditions. The instrument cluster also shows the active driving mode. Dynamic setup for maximum agility with optimized chassis and adapted drivetrain.

INDIVIDUAL configuration

General

The individual driving mode configuration is saved for the driver profile currently in use. The last configuration set is activated directly when the driving mode is selected again.
