The driver should first decide whether this function needs to be switched on.

Activating the function

With the ignition on, press and hold switch 1 for 5 seconds, until an audible signal sounds. The indicator light built into the switch comes on when the locks are engaged.

Deactivating the function

With the ignition on, press and hold switch 1 for 5 seconds, until an audible signal sounds.

Operating principle

After the vehicle is started, the system automatically locks the door locks once the vehicle reaches a speed of approximately 7 km/h.

Malfunctions

If the system does not operate automatically, first check that all body opening elements (doors, tailgate, boot lid) are properly closed.

If they are properly closed and the problem persists, contact an authorised dealer.

Also check that the automatic locking function has not been switched off by mistake.

If necessary, refer to the activation procedure.

When driving with the doors locked, remember that this may make it difficult for rescue services to access the cabin in the event of an accident.
