Side airbags

These airbags, fitted to the front seats and deployed from their outer side (the door side), are designed to protect occupants in the event of a severe side impact.

Side airbag precautions
  • Seat covers: only seat covers specifically designed for this vehicle model may be fitted to seats with airbags. Contact an Authorised Dacia Dealer to find out whether such covers are available. Using other types of covers (or covers designed for a different vehicle model) may prevent the airbags from working correctly and reduce occupant safety.
  • No objects or animals should be placed between the seat back, the door and the trim. Do not cover the seat back with items such as clothing or accessories. This could prevent the airbag from working correctly or cause injury when it deploys.
  • Removing or modifying the seat and trim is prohibited, except when carried out by an Authorised Dacia Dealer.
