Raising the head restraint

Pull the head restraint up to the desired height.

Lowering the head restraint

Press button 1 and hold the head restraint while lowering it to the desired height.

Removing the head restraint

Press button 1 and lift the head restraint until it comes out (if necessary, tilt the seat back).

Fitting the head restraint

Insert the posts into the guides (the recesses on the posts must face forward) and lower the head restraint to the desired height. Check that it is locked properly.

Head restraints are safety-related equipment, so they must always be properly fitted to the seat backs. The distance between the head restraint and your head should be as small as possible, and its upper part must be as close as possible to the top of your head.
