Key A

1 Coded key for the ignition, doors and fuel filler cap.

The key must not be used for purposes other than those described in this manual (opening a bottle, etc.).

Tip

Do not expose the remote control to heat sources, cold or moisture.

Driver's responsibility Never leave the vehicle with the key inside and never leave a child (or an animal) in the cabin, even for a very short time. They could endanger themselves or others by starting the engine, operating equipment such as the window lifts, or locking the doors. Risk of serious injury.

Remote control range

The range varies depending on the surroundings, so handle the remote control carefully to avoid locking or unlocking the doors by accidentally pressing a button.

Interference

The presence of certain objects near the key (metal objects, mobile phones, areas with strong electromagnetic fields, etc.) may cause interference and affect the operation of the system.

Replacement, spare key or remote control. If a remote control is lost, or if you want a spare key or remote control, contact an Authorised Dacia Dealer. If a key or remote control is replaced, the vehicle must be taken to an Authorised Dacia Dealer together with all remote controls so that the initial settings of the entire system can be reset. A maximum of four keys or remote controls can be used. If the key or remote control does not work: Make sure the battery is in good condition, is the correct type for this model and is correctly inserted. The battery lasts about two years. Unlocking the doors

Press unlock button 2.

The locks unlock, confirmed by one flash of the hazard warning lights and side indicators.

Note: if no door is opened within about 2 minutes after unlocking with the remote control, the locks lock again automatically.

Locking the doors

Press lock button 1.

The locks lock, confirmed by two flashes of the hazard warning lights and side indicators.

If any door, the bonnet or the tailgate is open or not fully closed, the locks lock and then quickly unlock, and the hazard warning lights and side indicators do not flash.
