Automatic Climate Control System

To activate the fully automatic climate control operation, perform the following steps:

1. Press the AUTO button.

2. Set the desired supply air temperature using the control located on the driver's side. The AUTO indicator and the set temperature will appear on the display. The air temperature in the front passenger zone can be set by turning the control located on the passenger's side.

In automatic mode, the system supplies cooled and/or heated air to the vehicle interior to increase or decrease the cabin temperature as quickly as possible to the comfort level you select.

If you adjust the fan speed manually, the system exits automatic fan speed control mode.

Air Temperature Adjustment

You can set different temperature values for the driver and passenger zones. Turn the corresponding control clockwise to increase the supply air temperature. Turn the control counterclockwise to decrease the temperature. The set air temperature values will appear on the display.

If you set the minimumor maximumtemperature value, the system will supply maximum cooled or heated air, respectively. In this case, automatic cabin temperature control will not be performed.

In cold weather, the blower does not switch on until the heater is ready to supply warm air to the cabin.

When the indicator built into the dual-zone temperature control switch is illuminated, you can independently adjust the air temperature in the driver and front passenger zones.

For diesel engine vehicles only

Your vehicle is equipped with an auxiliary heating system. This system assists the heater in warming the air.

Dual-Zone Temperature Control Switch

When the switch is pressed (the built-in indicator is on), you can independently adjust the air temperature in the driver and front passenger zones. When the indicator built into the DUAL temperature control switch is off, both zones maintain the temperature set for the driver zone. When the windshield defrost mode is selected, dual-zone temperature control is turned off.
