All four disc brake assemblies are equipped with brake pad wear indicators.

When the brake pads wear down to the point that replacement is required, you will hear a distinct metallic squeal when the brake pedal is depressed. If you do not replace the worn brake pads in time, the squeal will be heard constantly while the vehicle is moving. Note that serviceable brake assemblies may sometimes squeal or squeak during braking, which is considered normal.
