The valve guide is installed using a press. Using valve guide installer 09221-22000 or a suitable tool, replace the valve guide as follows.

PROCEDURE

1. Используя приспособление для установки направляющей втулки клапана, выпрессуйте

1. Using the valve guide installer, press the valve guide out of the cylinder head toward the cylinder block.
2. Position a new oversize valve guide against the cylinder head bore.
3. Using valve guide installer 09221-22000, press the guide into the cylinder head. The tool ensures the guide is pressed to a precise depth. Measure the protrusion of the valve guide top from the cylinder head. Note that the guide protrusion differs for intake (47.2 mm) and exhaust (39.1 mm) valves.

4. After pressing in the valve guides, insert new valves and check the clearance.
5. Each time valve guides are replaced, inspect and, if necessary, replace the valve seats.
