PROCEDURE

1. Check the oil pan for cracks or damage and replace it if necessary.
2. Check the oil filter for cracks or damage and replace it if necessary.
3. Check the front cover for wear or damage at the contact surfaces with the oil pump rotors and replace it if necessary.
4. Check the oil pump rotor teeth for wear or damage.

5. Щупом измерьте зазор между шестерней масляного насоса и гнездом в крышке.

5. Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the oil pump outer rotor and the housing bore in the cover.
Maximum outer rotor clearance: 0.12–0.18 mm

6. Щупом измерьте зазор между зубьями шестерен масляного насоса.

6. Using a feeler gauge, measure the tip clearance between the oil pump rotor teeth.
Maximum tip clearance between the oil pump rotor teeth: 0.001–0.003 mm
7. Using a metal straightedge and feeler gauge, measure the side clearance of the oil pump rotors.
Maximum side clearance of the oil pump rotors: 0.04–0.06 mm
