PROCEDURE

1. Check the diaphragm spring at the contact points with the clutch release bearing for wear and cracks, and measure the height difference between the diaphragm spring fingers. If defects are found, replace the clutch cover assembly with pressure plate.
Diaphragm spring finger height difference: 0.5 mm
2. Check the pressure plate for cracks, burn marks, and surface wear.
3. Check the rivets for secure attachment.
