Rear Stabilizer Bar

~1min read

PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear stabilizer bar link.

2. Проверьте крутящий момент, который необходимо приложить для проворачивания

2. Check the torque required to turn the ball joint stud of the stabilizer bar link.
If the dust boot is cracked, replace it and add grease to the joint.
Rock the ball joint stud of the stabilizer bar link back and forth several times.

Install a self-locking nut on the ball joint stud and measure the torque.

Torque: 1.7–3.2 N·m

If the torque exceeds the specified value, replace the stabilizer link.

If the torque is significantly lower than the specified value, the ball joint can be reused if it does not bind and has no excessive play.

3. Установите тягу стабилизатора и закрепите гайкой так, чтобы нижняя гайка располагалась

3. Install the stabilizer bar link and secure it with the nut so that the lower nut is located at distance A from the end of the link.
Distance (A) from the end of the stabilizer bar link to the nut: 4–6 mm
