Instrument Panel Fuse Replacement

~1min read

1. Turn the vehicle off.

2. Turn off all other switches.

3. Open the fuse panel cover.

4. Refer to the label on the inside of the fuse panel cover to locate the suspected fuse.

5. Remove the suspected fuse. Use the fuse puller provided in the fuse block in the engine compartment.

6. Check the removed fuse; replace it if it is blown. Spare fuses are located in the fuse block in the engine compartment.

7. Insert a new fuse of the same rating and make sure it fits securely in the clips. If it does not seat firmly, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

In an emergency, if you do not have a spare fuse, use a fuse of the same rating from a circuit that you do not need for vehicle operation.

If other electrical components do not work and the fuses are not blown, check the fuse block in the engine compartment. If a fuse is blown, it must be replaced with one of the same rating.

If a headlamp, turn signal lamp, tail lamp, or interior lamp does not work and the fuses are not blown, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
