Rear Combination Light Replacement

(1) Stop Light
(2) Tail Light (LED or Bulb)
(3) Turn Signal Light
(4) Back-Up Light
(5) Rear Side Marker Light (LED or Bulb)

Tail Light / Stop Light / Turn Signal Light / Side Marker Light (Outer Light) (Bulb Type)

1. Open the trunk lid.

2. Remove the service cover by pulling it outward.

3. Loosen the rear combination light assembly mounting nuts.

4. Remove the rear combination light assembly from the vehicle body.

[A] : Tail Light/Stop Light, [B] : Turn Signal Light, [C] : Rear Side Marker Light

5. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning it counterclockwise until the protrusions on the socket align with the slots in the assembly.

6. Remove the bulb from the socket. Press it in, turn it counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb align with the slots in the socket, then pull the bulb out of the socket.

7. Install a new bulb by inserting it into the socket and turning it until it locks into place.

8. Install the socket into the assembly by aligning the tabs on the socket with the grooves in the assembly. Press the socket into the assembly and turn the connector clockwise.

Rear Combination Light (Bulb Type)

1. Open the trunk.

2. Loosen the trunk lid fixing screw, then remove the trunk lid cover.

3. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning it counterclockwise until the protrusions on the socket align with the slots in the assembly.

4. Remove the bulb by pulling it out.

5. Install a new bulb by inserting it into the socket.

6. Install the trunk lid cover by pressing the screw in.

Back-Up Light (Interior Light) (Bulb Type)

1. Disconnect the connector, then remove the nuts by turning them counterclockwise.

2. Remove the light.

3. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning it counterclockwise until the protrusions on the socket align with the slots in the assembly.

4. Remove the bulb by pulling it out.

5. Install a new bulb by inserting it into the socket.

6. Install the light into the trunk.

7. Install the trunk lid cover by pressing the screw in.

Stop Light/Rear Light and Rear Side Marker Light (LED Type)

If the LED light does not work, we recommend having the vehicle checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
