We recommend using winter tires when the road temperature is below 45°F (7°C). Refer to the table below and install the recommended winter tire for your vehicle.

If you install winter tires on your vehicle, be sure to use the same tire inflation pressure as the original tires. However, if 245/40R19 size tires are installed on the rear, the tire inflation pressure should be maintained at 35 psi. Install winter tires on all four wheels to balance the handling of your vehicle in all weather conditions. Traction provided by winter tires on dry roads may not be as high as that of your vehicle's original tires. Check with a tire dealer for maximum speed recommendations.
