Spare tire (truck)

1. Connect the spare tire carrier wrench to the wheel nut wrench.

2. Insert the spare tire carrier wrench into the hole in the spare tire carrier, then turn the wheel nut wrench counterclockwise and the spare tire will lower.

3. Disconnect the steel cable from the tire support hook after the tire is fully lowered.

4. To install the spare tire, place the tire as follows.

5. Connect the steel cable to the support hook.

6. Insert the spare tire carrier wrench into the hole in the spare tire carrier, then turn the wheel nut wrench clockwise.

7. After the spare tire is fully raised, tighten it by hand to approx. 30 kgf·m (295 N·m)... Then carefully remove the spare tire carrier wrench, do not turn it in the reverse direction. Make sure the tire is securely fastened.

CAUTION:

If you cannot securely fasten the spare tire, load it into the vehicle body and have it inspected at the nearest service workshop.
