Headlamp Bulb

Replacement Instructions:

1. Allow the bulb to cool. Wear protective glasses.

2. Be sure to hold the bulb by its plastic base. Do not touch the glass.

3. Disconnect the power cord from the bulb base at the rear of the headlamp.

4. Press the bulb spring to remove the headlamp bulb.

5. Remove the protective cover from the replacement bulb and insert the new bulb, aligning the plastic base with the bulb hole. Press the bulb spring again and connect the power cord.

6. To dispose of the old bulb, use the protective cover and a cardboard box.

7. Check the headlamp aiming.

CAUTION:

The halogen bulb contains pressurized gas. If struck, it may shatter and fragments may fly out. Always wear protective glasses when servicing the bulb.

During operation, the bulb must be protected from friction, scratches, and fluid ingress. Operate the bulb only when it is installed in the headlamp. Replace the bulb if it is damaged or cracked. Keep bulbs away from children and dispose of used bulbs carefully.
