Windshield Washers

In the O position, gently pull the lever toward you to spray washer fluid onto the windshield and operate the wipers for 1 to 3 cycles. Spraying and wiper operation will continue as long as the lever is held.

If the washer does not operate, you may need to add washer fluid to the washer fluid reservoir.

WARNING

When the outside temperature is below freezing, ALWAYS warm up the windshield with the defroster to prevent washer fluid from freezing on the windshield and blocking your vision, which may cause an accident resulting in serious injury or death.

NOTICE

• To avoid possible damage to the washer pump, do not operate the washer when the fluid reservoir is empty.
• To avoid possible damage to the wipers or windshield, do not operate the wipers when the windshield is dry.
• To avoid damage to the wiper arms and other components, do not try to move the wipers by hand.
• To avoid possible damage to the wipers and washers, use antifreeze washer fluid in winter or cold weather.
