WARNING

If the red DBC indicator light is on, the system may have overheated or malfunctioned. If the indicator light remains on even after the DBC system has cooled down, we recommend having the vehicle checked at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer as soon as possible.

NOTICE

  • DBC may not deactivate on steep slopes, even when the brake or accelerator pedal is depressed.
  • Do not activate DBC while driving with the shift lever in 3rd gear (or higher) on vehicles with a manual transmission. The engine may stall if the DBC system is activated.
  • DBC does not operate when:
    - The shift lever is in P (Park).
    - ESC is activated.
