Vehicle Stability Management
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read
Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) is a function of the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. It helps maintain vehicle stability during acceleration or sudden braking on wet, slippery, or uneven roads, where tire traction may suddenly become uneven.
WARNING
Observe the following precautions when using the Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system:
- ALWAYS check your speed and the distance to the vehicle ahead. VSM does not replace safe driving practices.
- Never drive too fast for road conditions. The VSM system will not prevent accidents. Excessive speed in bad weather or on slippery or uneven roads may result in serious accidents.
