Automatic Heating and Air Conditioning

~1min read

The automatic climate control system is operated by setting the desired temperature.

1. Press the AUTO button.

The modes, fan speeds, air intake and air conditioner will be controlled automatically according to the temperature setting you select.

You can control the fan speed in three stages by pressing the AUTO button during automatic operation.

- HIGH: Provides rapid air conditioning and heating at the maximum fan speed setting
- MEDIUM: Provides air conditioning and heating at the medium fan speed setting
- LOW: The fan speed is set to the lowest setting range

2. Turn the temperature control knob/dial to set the desired temperature. If the lowest temperature setting (Lo) is selected, the air conditioning system will operate continuously. Once the passenger compartment has cooled sufficiently, adjust the knob/dial to a higher set temperature as soon as possible.

To cancel automatic operation, select any of the following buttons:

- Mode selection button
- Windshield defrost button (Press the button again to cancel the windshield defrost function. The "AUTO" indicator will illuminate again.)
- Fan speed control button. The selected function will be controlled manually, while other functions operate automatically.

For your convenience and improved climate control efficiency, use the AUTO button and set the temperature to 72°F (22°C).
