Heated Steering Wheel

When the ignition switch is in the ON position or the engine is running, press the heated steering wheel button to heat the steering wheel.

The indicator on the button will illuminate.

To turn off the heated steering wheel, press the button again. The indicator on the button will turn off.

• Driver Automatic Comfort Control Based on Climate Control Settings (if equipped)

- The automatic comfort control function can control the operation of the steering wheel heater according to the outside temperature and the climate control set temperature while the engine is running.

If the heated steering wheel switch is pressed while the automatic comfort control function is operating, the operation of the heated steering wheel will be controlled manually.

The automatic climate control function is activated from the Settings menu in the Navigation/Infotainment screen of the vehicle.

- The steering wheel heater defaults to OFF whenever the ignition switch is ON. However, if the automatic climate control function is ON, the steering wheel heater will turn on and off depending on the outside air temperature and the set climate control temperature.

Information

The steering wheel heater will automatically turn off approximately 30 minutes after the heated steering wheel is turned on.

NOTICE

Do not place covers or accessories on the steering wheel. Such covers or accessories may damage the steering wheel heating system.
